H2O Loc8* is the H2O location based services platform.  Loc8* does not require integration into telecommunications operators LBS platforms in order to deliver location based alerts, sends and notifications.

With Loc8* enabled social communities publishers can quickly define and generate location based advertising strategies and applications that generate revenue and differentiate a social community products from their competitors. 

Loc8* is used to generate SMS, MMS or video messages based on their vicinity to fixed points on a GPS map for Smart Phone Devices and simply requires a download of the XTIFY mobile client. working with the SODA CMS platform and the H2O SMS gateway to bring location based alerts to any community application  Using data driven push based events and alerts the H2O Loc8* application allows social communities to send mobile notifications when users are close to each other, close to advertisers or based on their individual profile settings.
